The Akhal-Teke Foundation is an award-winning 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to the preservation and protection of the endangered Akhal-Teke horse — one of the oldest and most beautiful horse breeds on Earth. Through education, preservation partnerships, and community empowerment, we work to ensure that this living heritage endures for generations to come.

2024-2025 Highlights

• Supported 25+ Akhal-Teke horses through conservation breeding, rescue, and breeding assistance
• Five foals born at the foundation's national Akhal-Teke Center in 2025 (representing about half of the total purebred foal crop in North America)
